WTF do Fire Depts keep teaching thier FF's to fight fire with a damn booster reel

this was a fire investigation course the aim was to not wash away all the evidence so used minimal water

one fo the best methods of firefightinh i have seen is 2 crews working together, a HPD and a LPD together. HP is much more manouverable in a house fire. but still have the effectivess of the low for when you need lots of water and protection

Its a bit of a no brainer as to why they use HPD hose reels, because they are way faster at getting water on as soon as your appliance arrives, you dont need to ship a stand pipe and feed the truck, just roll some off and go. NZ's fire fighting equipment and tactics are light years ahead of other countries, including the US

nah their is obviously no door on the container i.e mo back draught and he is low enough to avoid flash over even if it dose flash on him he shuld be fine cuz of his ppe but i tink they was doin a speacialist experiment of sumint so they doin it different

0:22 to 0:24. What the hell is this dude doing squatting directly in front of the doorway to the container. If this is a simulation(wich it is ) he should know the dangers of where he is positioned. Should use the walls for protection.

i dnt knw y pepole bitch and moan about hpds my fave tool in any structure fire and has the rite amount of water needed easy to use would rather use a hpd maby others like to use a lpd dnt complain about it its just pepoles diff stiels nice vidio mate keep it up
