Well, I think she knows as well that this role is far too "large" and dramatic for her light, charming and lyrical voice. Since she would never be so stupid as to risk ruining her voice for the second time, I think she sang violetta to "make a dream " of hers come true, to experience this role as well, since as she said in various interviews, she ADORES dramatic roles.

Eccellente interpretazione e impeccabile esecuzione. Peccato che la parte le stia larghissima, e gli sforzi con cui sta snaturando e stressando la sua bella leggerissima voce siano evidenti. E difatti la voce, ma anche l'espressività e il fraseggio, ne stanno risenendo! Peccato! Comunque (ancora) bravissima!
