This song is perfect for me and my father who let his wife emotionally abuse me and always seemed to never give a damn if i was there unless I did something bad and now that I'm 19 and no longer live with him he acts like I don't exist at all. I can relate to the "the silence gets us nowhere" part cuz when my friend found out i liked her, she hasn't talked to me ever since. She won't even look in my diresction. I personally think the most horrible thing you can ever do to sombody is ignore them. Especially when that person cares about you. Maybe she sees it differently or she's still trying to peice things together or what not. I hope she doesn't always pretend I'm not a person.

Anyways, this is one of the best damn songs by staind
