Gridiron = American and Canadian football. Don't like saying "football" unless there's a high number of either Americans or Europeans.

@WithTwoFlakes IFAF sounds too close to FIFA.
Should be renamed to the Global Gridiron Federation and have the headquarters here in USA, especially Connecticut since that's where Walter Camp, the father of american football, was born in. Calling it "American Football" isn't as catchy.

If you haven't played American football, football/soccer or rugby then your opinion isn't worth anything. Most people who put american football are to close minded to atleast try to understand it. But like I said unless you have even played it, your opinion is worth sh*t.

they call it football since back in day in the 1800's football had no throwing it was running rarely and kicking and over time it changed and they didn't decide to change it
