@ekong59 im mostly averse to the filipino culture of late, i hate it. with all my heart; the filipino mentality in general, (imagine people aren't allowed to take photos of public places here in manila without paying a shooting fee) the shows, the politics, the politicians, the movies, and yes, the music. Yet, the old days were so much better.

Great job on this song. I'm going to learn this song so I can sing it to my Filipina wife and this is the version I am going to use to learn it. I wish I could play the uke also. It sounds great on this song. It gives it a Hawaiian flair that is very nice.

you did a pretty great job. i hope you had someone translate the song to you first before you covered it. the singers here in the Philippines rarely even touch that song nowadays. now the music industry here's aiming for a "K-pop" sound-- completely disregarding how awesome classic Pinoy (slang for "filipino") music is.
you should trust your filipino friends when teaching you tagalog. they thought you well. :)
