Bob Barr on Glenn Beck 06/06/2008 - Part 3

You know what's ironic??? Since the end of the cold war, the US has become more communist than Russia, and in turn, Russia has become more of a capitalist than the US.

I feel like Beck. Barr just made me more likely to vote for him. At least he has the right ideas. I'm now 70% likely to vote Libertarian this year. I want to hear about the border fence.

I've been directly involved with the Libertarian Party for 18 years. I've tried to understand giving Bob Barr the nomination. I really have! But, the fact remains, he's not a Libertarian, never was, never will be. Does the fact that he's an excellent speaker, that he has experience in Washington, allow us to throw away our principles? I think this is a mistake.

Did Bob Barr just say he would give subsidies for oil exploration in the short term? I don't agree with that. Drill for oil, yes, but don't go subsidizing it. That just confounds the market value of energy commodities.

In my mind theres no other choice than Barr in this election. Ethanol is a lost cause!
