Black Cockatoos are big and shy. I was lucky to get this close. They have very strong beaks and will rip apart almost anything that gets in their way for the sake of food.

  • And this is why birds should not be stuck in cages in homes.....they should be in the wild chewing on trees, not furniture.

    GREAT VIDEO! Thanks for sharing!

  • ...yes - seeing them in the wild like this - well for me there is a certain awe about them...

  • It's too bad the camera kept focusing on the trees behind. Beautiful bird.

  • in the hurry of the moment it's hard to know whether to set the thing on auto or not, Too many times I've been trying to get the setting just right only to have the bird fly away. So this is a bit of a compromise. Thanks for commenting.

  • It`s a same bird how are a Lorry???

  • Sorry. Don't quite understand the question

I wish that all birds were in the wild! That is where they were meant to be. I cannot imagine what the first person who put a bird in a cage was thinking. It is so wonderful to see parrots in the wild, but it makes me feel sad to think of all the birds that are not allowed to fly.
