I made a Steam locomotive in 3D as a exercise for school

theres 2 things that are wrong with the locomotive, one, it has BUFFERS! american locomotives have COUPLINGS

and two the tender IS BACKWARDS!

well, i saw the buffers on the photo's/blueprints

and i know the tender is backwards, it was a bit of a rush job, the main goal was the locomotive itself ;)

WOW! VERY nice! Just because I am a stickler for detail, I had to look to see if you have the drivers quartered properly. Sadly, you don't, but never mind... excellant animation, very good, well done!

that's right, it's done because then i could animate both sides as one object, so it saved me about 50% of the animating time ^^

Well done, but I think the tender could use a little work. It looked like it was on backwards.

thats right, most if the work went into the loco, also i had no tender blueprints ;)

@ownerfate yah but we have the knuckle coupler. Britain has the hook and chain couplers.  so you my friend know nothing about railroads
