X360: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Playthrough Part 16

We go through a heavily spiked area to meet Maria.

What happens:
I go through many areas to a spiked room in the Chapel. Meet Maria and get the Silver Ring. Head to the Clock Room to unlock a new area. Meet Maria and get the Holy Glasses. Go to Castle Keep and prepare for the next boss.

Why is (item) important?:
Silver Ring: Used to unlock an area in the Clock Room.
Holy Glasses: Required to wear for the good ending.

Facts:
-Accidentally skipped the Maria scene when she gives you the Holy Glasses.

Next is collecting items near the Castle Keep and fighting the "Final" boss!

anyone know how to do that bat crush thing on the psx version?

also, what is the point of the skill of wolf(where the description says "wolf can do special attack") and echo of bat(where some radar shows up if you push triangle)?

Hold X, do a 360 with the analog stick (or d-pad, but it's easier with the analog stick) and point to the way you wanna go, then release X. It should work that way.

Wolf's special attack is dash. It's required (sort of) for a room. (If you're trying to get 200.6% map completion, other than that, it's just a mindless fun thing to use)

Echo of Bat is to see spikes in the spike room for the catacombs.

a hint for you, while you are using wing smash, use the combination repeatly, and the wing smash holds longer

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is my favorite Castlevania game (and handheld RPG game) of ALL TIME. It is just so full of awesomeness.

How does Symphony of the Night compare? What kind of differences are there?

Also, what are the Good changes?

What are the bad changes?
