During the time when business people were trying to sell time shares, a couple that I know were offered a, "gift" of three things that they could chose from if they came and took the tour. They did. It was a couple hundred miles from their home. They brought up the gift offer after and the man told them what he could offer. One was a, "White" sewing machine. That's a high brand sewing machine. When he brought it out it turned out to be a toy! The man said, "it's white isn't it?" ho hum.
