Mr. Zero Review - Altered Beast for Sega Genesis

Altered Beast, the game where a dead guy can turn into a flesh colored hulk and then into a furry.

This is a request by stewiescool and it'll be the last standard review I'll be doing for awhile. I am now officially starting my most ambitious project to date: A level to level demonstration of the first Hitman game, Codename 47.

LOL I remember that pokemon look a lke boss i thoght he was a lot harder than the final boss. You know what really pissed me off with this game was the fact it only had like 4 or 5 levels WTF and like you said the bosses were just so increadibly easy but than it jumps right into a very difficult boss anyway nice thanks for the review

This game came with Sega Genesis in the early days. I think you could configure the number of life rectangle things you start with - up to 5 maybe? It's so short and easy when you do that, I beat the game on the first day. Then I had no other Genesis games to play for a while, so I replayed this one over and over to drool over the graphics and sound. Yup, they were awesome at the time.

it's kind of a shame that this game was so horrible, it had such an amazing concept, who doesn't want to turn into animals and kick ass, too bad that they didn't spend any time on the development of the game

The credits were just pathetic, I spent many years of my childhood trying to beat this game, I learning cheap techniques to every boss which seems like the only possible way to win, and when this game ended a bird flew out, turned into a girl, and the credits bumped me away, it really pissed me off, but what pissed me off the most is that the song for the credits didn't even fit this game, and then they loop you around and make things harder, I'd rate this game a 4
