Mike is not even touched, the cage is not beat on, yelled at, or anything, before he died Mike V waited at the door to his cage to get into the truck for his trip to the stadium he looked forward to it. if anyone mistreated Mike VI, that person would be fed to him.

In the realm of collegiate sport, few have equaled, none have surpassed the pageantry that is LSU Football. Mike the Tiger is the Heart and Soul of that pageantry.

My late father (big LSU fan) used to tell a stroy where in the olden days (1950s or before, they use to poke old Mike in the butt with a NON-ELECTRIFIED poker just to get him to ROAR. The saying used to be at Tiger Stadium: "Poke the tiger and make the crowd roar!" Of course, the crowd of drunk students, sober students, rabid fans and cajuns would feed off the tiger's roar and would get so noisy, they'd drowned out the crowd!! And, you could actually see the tiger clearly back then.

I actually go to LSU. And they treat Mike with so much love, so don't go making crap up when you don't even know. They would never "shock" the tiger.
