  • I have just started getting into veggie oil with my old peugeot 405. I have done some reading and having got my WVO source sorted and filtered.

have started making my pre heater/exchanger. and associated electrics.

    Thought your system really good.

thought I would just see what vids were on you tube, and saw your vids. most of what I have been designing/thinking about you have already done!!!

    really good stuff!

I live in the west country. if youre ever around these parts let me know.

    regards...

    Thanks for your comment.

Not too many people really appreciate what this system can do.

Hot filtering the veggie on board is really the cheapest way to run WVO.

I would like to make one suggestion that is not in my videos.

When you build a "loop" system you have to make sure the veggie can only flow in one direction.

Otherwise the injection pump can suck unfiltered veggie and be ruined in a short time.

Use a none return valve just past the T for the injection pump.

    Cheers!

  • Can you give us a tour of the van =P

  • @Charles2337

The van is empty, I live in a caravan.

I use the van to provide Hauling Services.

    Cheers!

  • Also how is your red glow plug heater in your latest vid made. Is it just a solid mild steel block with straight through fuel? Are the glow plug hole just drilled and taped to a close tolerance? I'd love to know... Cheers

  • I have watched all your videos and studied the systems.Your 'loop system' is by FAR the best system, it is exactly what I needed to finish my design for my Toyota 3B. I have a few questions about your system. What micron are they and what type (is it a water filter) are used pre pump 1#/and then the standard filter?

What is a good pressure for the IP?

What temp does the thermostat switch at? Please let me know your opinion of my system in the vid. Thanks for your great videos

I see... can you give us a tour of your caravan lol

  • @VeggiePower303 Acitone stops fats droping out. If there is animal fats in the oil, in the cold weather when petrol/gasoline is added the soildified fat drops out (in tank), if you add 0.15% Acitone to the mix it will break down the solids and they pass through filter and burn in cylinder. I think there are other reasons too.

    Cheers.
