GizmoDuck Review: iRobot Roomba Sucks Great!

GizmoDuck Review: iRobot Roomba demo. I have the 530, 535, and 550 model with self-scheduling.

These are often on sale on Woot.com and Amazon.com. I got the 550 for $200 shipped from Amazon which came with three lighthouses and two filters. The 535 for $155 on Woot sale. Paid about the same for the 530, but it is NOT as good, it comes with the old virtual walls. Get a warranty through Squaretrade, they have to fix it in 5 days or less or give you your money back, and they have 20% off sales almost constantly.

UPDATE! Samsung has entered the scene with its champion, the Furot II robot: http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/15/samsungs-furot-ii-robovac-wants-a-piece-of... Can't wait to see how it stacks up, I may have to pick one up for downstairs and do a side-by-side time lapse comparo and review! :D

I just saw on Engadget that Samsung has wrangled up their engineers and are releasing a competitor called the Furot II robovac!

I'm really excited to see more competition in this arena! I hope they make a lawn mowing robot soon as well. :)
