I was driving across country this week and found this song yesterday on my Oingo Boingo cd I purchased for the "Stay" song. I listened to this "Heard Somebody Cry" over and over the whole trip. I had never heard it before. Very under rated and very addictive. Glad I gave it a chance. It's my favorite now. Love your pictures to.

I was 13 when I became a Boingo fan. When my son was 13 I took him to a music store to by a Boingo cd and the employee said, "Oingo Boingo who?" I felt accosted. Who was this young lad who never heard of Forbidden Zone, Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman, and all the movie soundtracks Elfman composed! Well, my son bought the music via internet and all is well in this house when the speakers blare this music. My son is now 20yr and the tradition will continue. Boingo on!!!!

I would probably say I'm a young fan, I'm 17 as of this year. My mom lived this era and loves the music. Now every time I drive her car, this tape is in and I can't help but listen.

@kentweirdo Of course i will! I'm 14 now, and i've tried to spread Oingo Boingo many many times, but no one seems to ever like them. I don't get them frankly. I would never deprive my children of such music! I plan on purchasing their CD (if i can ever FIND one) and i don't care if my kids call me a freak obsessed with a time that i didn't even live in. They shall know Danny Elfman by name whether they like it or not! MWAHAHAHAHAHA

@kentweirdo I AGREE COMPLETELY!! I love oingo boingo, its one of the best bands ever out there, and im proud to announce IT HAS reached younger audiances! how i know this? I used to listen to this song on my Fisher-Price tape deck on the way to kindergarten class. Oingo Boingo is burnt into my brain like The Pixies, X, and the Talking Heads (thanks a lot, Mom). Fuck, I could listen to this song for years, and never get sick of hearing it, I swear.

I hope and pray that Oingo Boingo reaches a younger audience, one day, so this music doesn't die out.
