  • @Inediblehulk ....lol. Awesome story. Ah, the good ol days of being a kid mark.

  • @filthiestfish True, but by Nov '91, the Gulf War was pretty much over, Sgt Slaughter had turned face and Gen Adnan was no longer a full time wrestler. So without them, Mustafa was basically reduced to jobber status

  • @AlbanianMan You forget that Colonel Mustafa was main eventing the previous ppv that year!

  • @filthiestfish I remember that '91 Survivor Series (in which Busick was supposed to be there but instead was replaced by Hercules) and thinking to myself, "Man, this team is going to get smoked!" His partners were Col Mustafa, Skinner, and the Berserker, not exactly a recipe for success.

  • Putting the talent over during interviews was never Joe's strong point.

  • @lhwchamp So thats why he went from being captain of the jobber team at Survivor Series to never actually wrestling that night. He was never seriously pushed though. He only had wins against other jobbers and was cleanly pinned by Hacksaw Jim Duggan before Survivor Series, so clearly, they didnt have a big plan for him.

  • Busick had me fooled when he popped kids balloons with his cigar in the WWF. I had no concept of plants in the crowd and couldn't believe Tunney allowed that shit to happen to paying fans! I actually planned on confronting Busick about it at a house show (all 75 pounds or so of me), but he was either fired or just not there when it should have gone down. Lucky for him.

  • @JRiggz108999 I am not sure how you know of him. I know of him because he used to be a commentator in the LPWA with Jim Cornette, and they are my all-time favorite pair of wrestling commentators. Pedicino was a long-time wrestling promotor and announcer that operated for years down in Georgia and he also did some radio. I don't know what he's doing now.

  • @zantara how do i know the name joe pedicino? what else did he do? and wow great promo too, i love these over the top characters, now if a guy acted like that he'd be shark boy or some other jobber......and nice how they put over his finisher too....there is no more "controversial "moves any more, they did a great job getting over orton's punt , but gave up on it after his face turn, too bad.........and BBB was suppose to get a push in wwf until sid sqaushed him at msg and he complained too much

  • And the Reason WWF didn't let him speak that much during interviews has gotten my scratching my head.
