A clip of Lynn Huntley, SEF President, announcing the release of High School Dropouts:Alabama's Number One Education and Economic Problem. The report of the Southern Education Foundation (SEF) finds that Alabama now ranks 42nd in the nation in per capita income and almost two-thirds of the state's income gap with the nation is entirely due to the state's low levels of education primarily fueled by the state's high school dropout problems. SEF's report links the problems of high school dropouts directly to Alabama's lagging economy during the last three decades.

  • in alabama we are required an exit exam for every subject.

we are tested all the damn time. and these long and hard ass tests determine if we pass or not.

they wonder why we just end up saying "fuck this, i'll go dig ditches"

    lol
