Supercharged Corvette C6 Z06 vs tuned Nissan GTR 0-300 km/h (0-186 mph)

According to speedometers, it took 20 seconds for the GTR and 23 seconds for the Z06. GTR really did it in 19.8 seconds... Corvette speedo is not so accurate, and it definitely took longer than 23 seconds.

Bottom line, manual transmission ruins acceleration so badly. Corvette's acceleration completely stops at every shift, while GT-R takes off like a fighter jet. Continuously increasing speed.

Only idiots attempt to compare dissimilar events and try to show them as facts. I notice I never see a TT ZO6 vs any GTR because at 1/2 the boost, it will destroy the GTR without any problems. The quickest TT ZO6 on Pump gas is faster than the fastest race gas R35 GTR so that debate ends quickly. Obviously the ZO6 had much less power and worse traction, but some children will attempt to present this as fact. YT is never short of entertainment.

wtf? the car in this video is MY CAR, 2006 Z06 with 5psi of boost, car made 600rwhp, and you're comparing it to a 800+ hp GTR? Look at that video a few times and compare the acceleration one more time...

@neglectedMushrooms and that´s why the AMS12 Alpha ran a best of 8.9 at the 1/4 mile (once) where the fastest C6 Z06s run in the 6s since a loooong? also it´s idiotic to come up with the bugatti veyron - it´s one of the slowest 1000hp cars I can think of when it comes to the acceleration. also the Z06 rapes GTRs around a racetrack ;). japanese engineering fails against american muscle you "neglected mushroom" nerd. fastest 530hp 2012 GTR lap time 7:24 - 505hp C6 Z06 7:19 :)
