1992-10-23 Blake Hides Out Part 2

23 Oct 1992 (Part 2) - [some video problems] Nadine compliments Holly's strength to Billy, who notices that Ross has arrived with Vanessa. Holly is displeased to see Ross, while Vanessa tries to keep his spirits up. Ross is snubbed by many of the women patrons, who once supported him. Billy shows his public support for Ross, but Ross won't apologize for anything. Gilly takes Ross to greet her parents, but Vivian refuses to speak to him. Despite Vivian's display, Charles assures Ross of their support. Meanwhile, Gilly tries to keep the Ross-bashing from her mother and Holly under control. Vanessa steps in to chastise Holly. Ross tries calling Blake again, but Blake hangs up on him. Vanessa disapproves of Holly's actions and thinks Holly is making Ross and Blake's relationship too much about her. Holly gets defensive and tries to turn the conversation to Vanessa's love life. Holly does not feel ashamed of what she's done, but Vanessa hopes her pride will keep her warm at night all alone. Gilly tells Hamp that Holly's night out was less than she [Holly] expected. Holly comes home to her empty house, upset that she didn't do anything wrong. Meanwhile, Blake is devastated to hear the news stories blame her if Ross loses the election. Still at the Towers, Ross happily reports to Vanessa that he's still getting campaign contributions. Ross thinks it will be a close race, but he believes again that he can win.

As much as I thought Holly made alot to be about her, I felt sorry for her during this ep. Her and Blake. Those two seemed to be caught up in a world of hurt, and Ross seems to be totally oblivious.
