Tyler Matzek warms up in the bullpen prior to an April 22 South Coast League game between the Capistrano Valley Cougars and the Dana Hills Dolphins. Matzek tossed a seven-inning shutout, spearheading the Cougars' 1-0 victory. Matzek is considered one of the two top high school pitchers for the upcoming 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft. The 6-foot-3, 185 pound southpaw hurls a low-90s fastball and has good command of three solid, secondary pitches - a curveball, slider and changeup.
