Barack Obama - Join Together

Since the Republicans and their corporate media lackeys insist on calling Senator Obama a rock star, I figured I'd oblige them by doing a little music video showing how we're ALL members of this new band. Music by Pete Townsend and The Who. Video has a bit of New England flavor to it as I used clips from Obama's 2004 DNC speech from Boston, his "Yes We Can" speech from this past January in New Hampshire and then his speech in Concord, NH yesterday. I think you'll find remarkable consistency in Senator Obama message over that 4 year time period.

Well it's certainly not from a lack of effort by President Obama. Defense Secretary Gates, Transportation Secretary LaHood, for example. He offered a cabinet position to Senator Gregg. He even a place for his most bitter rival, Hillary Clinton. Old habits die hard but President Obama is slowly turning this ocean liner around. I'm sticking around to help him see it through. I hope you will too.

Don't make it a color issue. We've got some tremendous challenges to face. The first step is recognizing them. Barack's the real deal. He's sharp and a first class gentleman and statesman. He needs to speak clearly and step up, I hope he's up to the challenge for all our sake.

You're damn right he's a rockstar. He's the biggest phenomenon in the world, and for good reason - he's going to be the next president of the United States of America. Make sure you go out and vote, because we can't get cocky. Though we're up by 8 points, we still need everyone to do their part and vote.
