2011 SUNYAC Mens 1500 Meter Final & 800 Meter Final

Geneseo, NY - The 2011 Sunyac Track & Field Championships took place on May 7, 2011. This is the race video from the 1500 Meter & 800 Meter Finals. Nick Guarino of Fredonia went out hard in the 1500meters and cruised to victory. Lee Berube of Geneseo was 2nd in the race. The top 5 finishers from the 1500 meter final are 1) Nick Guarino 3:50.36, 2) Lee Berube 3:52.37 3) Tom Clark 3:55.96 4) Lee Gabler 3:56.07 5) Mark Streb 3:56.09

In the Mens 800 Meter Final the Guarino brothers from Fredonia took 1st and 2nd place as Nick Guarino won with a time of 1:51.69 and Josh Guarino finished with a time of 1:54.36. Chris Carter of Geneseo was third with at ime of 1.54.96.

Some impressive races both day. alot of competition on both. Im keeping my eye on Chris Carter i believe he just started racing the 800 this year and already showing some good times. also looks like the guarinos may be taking him under their wing. Geneseo coach told me he has sophmore status so theirs more to come from him im sure. cortland also ran an impressive 4x4 alone ppheww. 2- great days of racing!
