Even if Bobby didn't get shot, we should've nominated Mcgovern in 68, then elect him to the presidency. He would've been a helluva president. I am a big LBJ fan (though I don't advocate him deepening our Vietnam involvement, it was better than Goldwater wanting to nuke Vietnam), but if we elected Mcgovern in 68- we'd have been out of Vietnam earlier, and we wouldn't have had our National Debt tripled. Go George!

As a European having lived in SD, I think that Obama is the only hope for the US to get in touch with the rest of the world again; the only chance to again start behaving as the great nation it is, not as an immature, obnoxious, spoilt brat like it has under George Bush. You need the world, the world needs the US.
