@9878tubeyou Excuse me, but launching pumpkins a mile is awesome. Especially done by normal citizens without fancy knowledge. The thrill of seeing something this big and powerful would be amazing. I think even a dry fire would be cool, but if you have problems with this why are you watching

Your statement would have been right if this was a combustion launcher. In this video they use a high pressure air (HPA) / pneumatic launcher. Most pneumatic launchers do expel excess air upon the exit of the projectile due to the compression and pressurization of the air. In pneumatic launchers there is no need for a perfect ratio like in combustion launchers, just give em' massive amount of air and it will easily achieve the highest velocity possible (:
