no, it's not a chromatic, Piazza is a master of diatonic harmonica so he uses all the holes (from 1-10), so it sounds very melodic and has a lot of notes.

Ah... the Essential Blues Harmonica. Great music, I also like "The Bounce". Your version is a bit different than Rod's, but I like it!

Type in: teresa russell on you tube and watch this woman play guitar, look for her song: barking spider and go down till you see one that's dark ( not enough light ), and it says something like : my dad playing the sky is crying with teresa, that will be me on the harp, my chops are a bit rusty.

Cool man. I've seen Piazza live several times and he's never played this song, one of my favorites. Didn't he originally record it on a chromatic?

I'm not sure this is the only version I have and it is on a cd called "Essential Harmonica" it is a compliation cd of different harp players. I would love to hear the chromatic version. Thanks
