thank you so much for posting i really enjoyed the videos. he plays truly masterfully. kust a little critique though- this tasnif that he plays at the end is not his composition. Every one seems to think that it is. It is an old tasnif that says "man masto to divane azizam mara ke barad khaneh". I went to the dastan concert with salar aghili and in the brochure it said that this was his compostion as well but I think it was a typo and thats where this rumor has gone aound that this is his sing

Nahoft, well said about "90% fluff" renditions!!! You spoke my mind. I hardly ever listen to modernized compositions like the Dastan Ensemble. I prefer works that stay true to the Radif. My favorite album so far is "Dastan" by Shajarian and the Aref Ensemble. What's your take on that?
