Also, I assume your comment "Madonna is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame??? WTF?" means that you also question how Madonna can be in the RRHoF before Pat.

@chuckfleener There are a lot of great female rockers today, they just don't get the mainstream attention or record deals. You have to really look for them but they are there!

@chuckfleener Moreover, I can't think of a single "rock and roll" song that Madonna has done. What quality rock and roll song has she ever sang/performed? While Pat Benatar would lip synch for these videos, when she performed live she actually sang. Madonna was the queen of lip synching. It's ridiculous to compare the two let alone induct Madonna into a "Rock and Roll" hall of fame ahead of someone like Pat Benatar. Madonna always was and always will be a "show" and never a quality vocalist.

@chuckfleener Yeah , Madonna is not rock and should not be there. Two other females on par with Pat Benatar are Linda Ronstadt and Ann Wilson, I don't think they are in the HOF either.

She is the hands down the undisputable Goddess of Rock and Roll. Second and third video ever played on MTV. No one compares. Power, range, passion, emotion, looks, She is the $hit. No one is even close. It makes me SICK that Madonna made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before Benatar. Makes me SICK!

Secondly, Madonna was NEVER rock. I will agree she is the queen of pop. Rock .... NO!
