Unreal Development Kit - UDK - Vertex Painting Tutorial 1

This is a tutorial where i show you what the new UDK engine can do. With the new Vertex Painting, this tutorial will show you how to set up a flickering shader where you can use the vertex painting to offset the timing of the flicker, the duration of the flicker, or change it into a direction without even having any UV's laid out.

On my web site, i have a fully written out tutorial with step by step instructions on how to set this up along with a bunch more nifty little tips and tweaks.

Great tutorial, but the screen seems a bit too "zoomed in". I think some zooming is good for emphasis on menus or actions, but for the most part a full-screen view is optimal. Keep up the good work!

sorry that was a stupid comment. ive just started useing UDK and i dont know anything about it or makeing games for that matter .. i was just a little bored while watching tutorials on youtube. your tutorial is infact good! for a guy that has some xp useing this its not so hard to understand, u just watch and learn ^^
