  • @atomicfart3514 The was for the OLD, outdated EASY NHTSA tests. Did you know Acura RDX is at the absolute bottom of its SUV class for IIHS roof strength. The NHTSA rollover rating is only an estimate of a vehicles ability to a resist rolling over while maneuvering - what happens when you actually rollover when you have a weak roof? My former co-worker wife's Honda Pilot was flipped in a low speed collision by a Toyota Camry and she was injured requiring on going medical treatments.

  • The Acura MDX did NOT receive roof strength reinforcement until the 2012 model year to at least meet the IIHS roof strength recommendation. The Volvo XC90 has met the recommendation since 2003. The Acura RDX still doesn't meet IIHS roof strength recommendations and it is at the absolute BOTTOM of its class of SUVs in term of roof strength. The Honda Crosstour in a joke too when its comes to roof strength. If you want SAFE and Japanese engineering by a Subaru. Otherwise I buy Volvos.

  • what if i hit it with a chevy tahoe instead of that cart?

  • Did you know that Acura is the only car manufacturer that has 5-stars all around for all their cars in crash ratings? This particular generation has a 4-star rollover rating! I'm not paid by Acura but I'm very impressed with them. If you care about you family get an Acura!

  • good car, very comfortable too

  • omg safe!

  • @lamborghini989 its such a nice car!

  • My wife and kids had a full size GMC truck hit the side of our now totaled 2002 Honda Van 3 weeks ago and everyone is okay. The van did not have side curtain bags, but it did it's job and caused minor injureys only. I bought a 2007 Acura MDX 2 days after the wreck because it is ranked at the top for safety and with acura / honda reliabality I hope it will be a great suv. I wish I saw more MDX's on the road. My opion they are very sharp looking.

  • I saw a car crash head on against a mdx waiting at a red light and the car was destroyed and the mdx didnt even had a scratch lol
