Dr. Leslie Cargile and her husband William are missing, according to Henderson County sheriff's investigators. Her medical practice in Black Mountain was shut down Thursday as a result. The couple had been on vacation and staff at Family Care Home contacted police when she didn't show for work Monday. The couple's son released a statement saying, "...we're very concerned about them. Our office is temporarily closed. Patients are being referred to other primary care physicians." Investigators say they're actively working to determine if the couple is in harm's way. Capt. Frank Stout also pointed out the couple was not under criminal investigation at the time of their disappearance. By: Mario Boone, mlboone@wlos.com Follow Mario Boone on Twitter @marioboone
