@daviesprokit5 so ur saying daft punk, blink 182, foo fighters, deadmau5, lupe fiasco, and so many other "mainstream" artists, in any genre, are bad simply because they were good enough to get noticed. i too tend to like "underground" music better also, but you have to realize that 99% of anything "mainstream" (1% being that justin bieber, hannah montana, jonas brothers crap) started out as "underground" so really your comparing one thing to what it used to be.

@Fervorism 1) dgaf 2) Because the general public are idiots? Is mainstream rap better than underground? Anybody who isn't a fucking dumb ass knows it is not. Like that isn't even opinionated, as far as intelligence goes underground is BETTER, absolutely no arguments inbetween. Also I pointed out not all mainstream is shitty. But the majority however, yes is awful. Underground is typically better in more than likely every genre, but I wouldn't know I don't listen to every genre.

@OutsideAndTheKeyboar Bad comment. Mainstream music does in fact tend to be shittier than the underground. that is the only reason why people "discriminate" against mainstream. It's not definitely bad, but it is generally bad.
