Louisiana Shrimpers Cleaning BP Oil and Catching Shrimp on Same Day

http://www.seaturtles.org On August 23 outside of Tiger Pass on the Mississippi River Delta the Sea Turtle Restoration Project volunteer Sea Turtle Action Team witnessed four shrimp trawl boats, three had nets down trawling for early evening shrimp and one still had BP oil cleaning booms installed. Why are we eating this shrimp when they are still skimming for oil? Shrimp trawl nets kill hundreds of sea turtles each year, reason enough to stop buying Gulf shrimp if you care about sea turtles.
