See step by step how to upgrade your Acer ASPIRE ONE ram to 1 GB or 1,5 GB (maximum). Inside this laptop there is a 512 MB ram soldered in the mainboard, so you can only add a PC4200 533 Mhz 512 MB / 1024 MB module. However, even Windows Vista works like a charm only with 1 GB ram in this netbook

i have an AA1 kav60 model, i can just pop off a cover in the back and change mine. it currently has a 1 gb ram stick. i see how you got 1.5 gb of memory, but how can i? if i have 512mb soldered to the mainboard, plus my 1gb, that is 1.5gb. i ran the test on crucial.com and it said my max memory is 1.5GB, and current is 1GB. so how do i add the 512?
i googled the acer aspire one kav60 max ram and it says 2GB. however the crucial test said 1.5 was max. any ideas?

i watched the vid then was like ill go buy a 4gb ram for it and then i got came back to the vid and read the descrition about the 1gb thing i FAIL

@oliverh090 haha yes... but I doubt about if Acer makes this model anymore. Newer netbooks should support 4 gigs

managed to upgrade both ram and ssd... kick ass performance. thanks for the video... the bubble tips are nice, well timed.
