  • ..accelerate to about 40mphish then turn one way and then the other violently and pull up the hand brake WITH the clutch down, if you have the engine still engaged to the gearbox BEING A 4 wheel drive it'll either do a 4 wheel drift )if you keep your foot down( or it'll catch grip :) i dont drive a 4wheel drive car but i'd imagine that the easy way of doing it?

  • @drunkennewfiemidget yes I know, but in an AWD if the rear loses traction the front wheel turns faster to put the car in the shaft if I have something false you can correct me, but in the rally car like the Impreza STI you can make easily drift even if it is an AWD

  • I normally use the handbrake to get the rear end loose then flat out, for tight turns like that anyway... I try to keep the handbrake as a parking brake

  • dude im 17 and i can drift my subaru rs 2.5l better then you haahah

  • That is a real nice sounding Subaru. Problem is, it is hard to do a handbrake turn in an AWD car...but not bad

  • @drunkennewfiemidget must the steering be on full lock? coz i tried it on my local track just now and got the same situation as this driver.

  • @drunkennewfiemidget must the steering be on full lock?

  • @counterstrike336 Nope. You can do a handbrake turn in an AWD just fine. Clutch in before you begin to disconnect the drivetrain from the motor, turn the wheel HARD, pull the handbrake to make the rear tires lose traction, begin your (hopefully controlled) skid, once you're at the apex, release the parking brake (you should have been holding it the whole time with the button depressed), let the clutch out, and straighten the wheel.

  • you need to clutch in to do a hb turn

  • you need lessons
