He's not trading in his life for some "powder"? I am a regular, poor guy and when I used to use methamphetamine it was actual "ice" - it looks like shards of crystal, hence "Crystal Meth". He was arrested again recently, sadly.
I hope he stays sober for his own sake. Personally I don't think any drug use should be illegal. Now, DUI, domestic battery, etc, those are real crimes. But I suppose if the meth causes him to do those things they have to prevent him from using.

If you want to see Tom in a movie basically playing himself...watch Natural Born Killers. I know you had a rough life making 200 grand a week and getting high but I'm sure you'll pull it together.
