Concerning the fact that this is youtube and i live in a free society, i can happily state that here.

Bono is a creation of our consumer habits, I do not care for him at all. Yet he choices to recite something that i do like. Naturally, it leads to annoyance and me placing a bad comment about Bono. And i have the opinion, that if he really knew what he was reciting, he wouldnt be reciting it.

Should EVERY little thing he does, sings, reads, recites, asks, demands, thinks be challenged just because a bunch of people has the stupid idea that the coolest thing to do on Earth is to criticize Bono????

Give it a rest, he's just a guy who likes Bukowski's writing. Don't read that much into it.

A soft, empty, rock and roll millionaire dribbling over words he'll never fully understand. You can tell by the way he recites it. Everything is an act for Bono. There's nothing real about him. Tom Waits on the other hand...when he recites bukowski... brilliant.

@ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR For sure. Cheers. I beleive that if you really want to effect the social changes that your channel seems to be leaning towards, you'll need to get militant. Don't get me wrong, I don't like guns or anything like that, I mean that there's no other way to take the power from the Estab. They sure won't surrender it! All of the conferrences and meetings and sites etc. are a great way to exchange ideas and info but I'm not sure how they can effect change. What's your opinion?

You only have my word for this, but I'm not one who easily believes every crazy conspiracy theory going around. I research the things I talk about - although I realise I will be mistaken about some things from time to time - time being the great revealer, of course.
