On January 21st 2012 over 100 police, coast guard, us sheriffs, and fbi converged on the tiny isle of Moloka'i. To protect a private luxury yacht and it's 36 passengers. At a cost of over $1 million dollars.
What else is new? This happened when foreigners began to usurp the Hawaiian monarchy, disregarding its rights and existence. It seems to me that the government[s] could do a better job of representing the people instead of special interests alone. Auwe.
Many Moloka'i people subsistnce fish...Outrageous that they send the military to shut down the harbor for this mainland exploitive, disrespectful company.
Moloka'i activists had worked out a deal and had agreed to allow this exploitive "Safari" cruise land when YOUR TAX DOLLARS at work shut down the central harbor/bay on Molokai and use $milllions of homeland security money to mount a full-scale military operation against the peace ful people of the Friendly Isle. BOYCOTT AMERICAN SAFARI CRUISES - exploitive, rich 1% vs Hawaiians on the last truly Hawaiian island.

@MauiDems Anyone who would name their boat "Safari" in Hawaiian waters shows themselves to be at the very least oblivious of the implications
