on a jackshaft with sealed roller bearings
dont know what it was off but worked very well and very reliable
-
@ducatiluke how u mount that pully?
-
@crazyfvck I was referring to the fact that the guy in the video never actually gets on the bike and takes a ride. Like a lot of these types of videos, they sit there and rev the engine but never hop on and ride off into the sunset.

@7188181 Usually you can. Have to register it as a moped in most situations. Local laws vary though.
-
@smartkart You can. All you have to is register it as a moped. They might make him put on a headlight and taillight though. Of course every state has different laws..
-
It's too bad that you can't actually ride the bike.
-
@ducatiluke Why do you always spell "original" wrong? Do you actually think it's spelled that way?
-
@smartkart Did you see the seat?
-
how did you mount that?
just two bolts one connects to the head the other to one of the origional mounting holes
no welding made with an angle grinder and a drill !

ive changed the ratio lots of times i started with 5:1 that was a bit tall
but the engine had soo much torque once in motion it was great you could feel the power pulses of the engine
now i run about 6.5:1 that allows for easy takeoff's and reasonable top speed of about 70km/hr

the fan belt is used as a clutch i simply realese the tension buy pulling the leaver on the handel bars and it slips works well
the big pully drives a sprocket on the other side which drives a standard bicycle sprocket on the back wheel through a standard bicycle chain works well super reliable no issues for a year !!!
