@MattMulder its the people who claim millions of rapes who are taking numbers out of their hats. There is no scholarly proof of that figure. As stated, the formula used to get that figure is suspect at best and rely on a whole lot of circumstances in Berlin being uniformly applied across Germany.

The flaw in the "millions" figure is that it was based on data from a SINGLE hospital in Berlin, and used a mathematical formula to apply abortion rates in Berlin per 100,000 to the entire population of Germany overrun by the Reds, assuming the rape rates were uniformed. Based on that alone, the figure is suspect.
Most figures put the rapes at the low 100,000's, a very high figure none the less but when compared to the 14 million Russian civilians who died under German rule, pales in comparison
