I met one of the kids in this commercial a few years ago. He was managing a bar/restaurant where I played music.

Guilty as charged. :-) I had so much fun with my 6 Million Dollar Man toys. I could never decide which I liked better, though - the Bionic Transport and Repair Station or the inflatable command base. I never was able to convince my parents that I really, truly needed Maskatron and Bionic Bigfoot, though. :-)

I was a proud memeber. They gave you a letter and a sticker. I stiill have the sticker on an old trunk in the basement.

These were actually around as early as 1974, My friend Steven in Hawaii owned this with the rocket that you could seal him up in. I finally owned one around 1977.
