San Francisco to Vote on Prostitution

San Francisco would become the first major U.S. city to decriminalize prostitution if voters next month approve Proposition K, a measure that forbids local authorities to investigate, arrest or prosecute anyone for selling sex. (Oct. 24)

It is funny (not really) how many people speak of the physical sex acts they imagine prostitutes engage in - with such hatred and disgust. Don't these same people have sex? It's not very safe because it's illegal. An illegal prostitute has two options, report to the authorities about their case and get arrest because of their jobs or bear the pains of the offences their 'johns' or pimps commit against them.

If it were legal, the hooker will feel safer.
