The BTR-90 Armoured Personnel Carrier is a 21st century combat vehicle possessing high mobility, enhanced firepower and survivability due to innovations, implemented in design and armament.

The BTR-90 APC outperforms significantly both well-known Russian APCs and up-to-date foreign-made APCs, due to its superior technical characteristics, enhanced fire power, mobility, and survivability.

  • oh a stryker but 1/5 the cost and morebattle tested...

  • with berezhok turret, is so cool

    with 4 kornet

  • @TheDRAGOON15 yeah but what about barbed wire and sharp jagged debris

  • @MRWALKER500000 It's not easy to have a clear shot on the wheel especially when on the battlefield where soldiers run around the battlefield... I'm just sayin'

  • @MRWALKER500000 I think its called a BMP :D

  • @1169Timothy fraid its tracks 4 me, still it'd be mint if they outfitted a btr 90 with BT type tracks :D

  • @MRWALKER500000 Whilst that is true, tires are easier to change vs changing tracks.

  • @1169Timothy sorry but if an insurgent blasted a couple of AK-47 rounds at the wheels, that would destroy the tires, and remember run flat tires dont run forever so a stryker would probably be able to deliver its payload, but would have to be taken away by the engineering variant which is still vulnerable

  • @MRWALKER500000

    1. I am not American

    2. Tracks are good but wheels are more cost effective and with a large engouf vehicle they can still crush (or rather drive over) road blocks and obstacles. Proof of this is that riot control uses wheeled vehicles and it is not a problem).

    3. Wheeled vehicles do better in an urban combat situation vs Tracked vehicles and that is precisely the situation that an IFV is most effective.

    You get what I'm sayin?

    3.

  • @1169Timothy what i am saying is your M113 has an excellent vehicle that needed no replacement

    1. the stryker has a 275hp engine while the stryker needs a 350hp

    2. /watch?v=6fxIAEW0djU (you also see the film black hawk down where the humvees cant crush those obstacles that the somalis put up?)

    3. with tracks, the ground pressure is dispersed

    4. dont the Paras use a pallet to put the vehicles on?
