@gavin0883 I concur.

HMMMMM..... the french and the British, apparently they are trying to make up for world war II by crashing two subs into each other in a 700,000,000 square mile sea, the chances have to be less than none, like maybe 1/1000000000000, but hey, maybe they both have similar military routes they "sail" on.

"Attention, ça sera une collision!!!"
"Captain, what is that french guy yelling at the radio?"

How do you hit another object on the ocean by accident lmao you'd think there enough room to avoid each other

Did they sink?

@Vann7 sheesh... keep your pants on smart-arse, i was only joking.
people need to learn not to take everything so seriously.

Having read the comments going back over the last 4 months, and having served 30 years in RN, 14 in subs, I would like to thank some people on here for entertaining me with some of the funniest and daftest remarks going.

@Xeno10O8 One SUbmarine was chasing another too close.. thats why.. its a friendly but dangerous game..where one nation was testing its stealth abilities.

@TheCrapoo The possibilities of 2 submarines colliding in the middle of the ocean without being aware one of the other are next to impossible.. what most likely happened is that one country sub was shadowing the other ,testing its stealth abilities.. this is done virtually chasing the suibmarine tail or right under it ..if they stop abruptly or change course is when collision happens. This happens alot since every nation like to test their abilities chasing another.

we shouldnt need nukes in the 1st place
rofl, stealth technology is getting pretty good :P

If they didn't spend millions of pounds making the ships undetectable, maybe they wouldve detected each other before the collision.... Or maybe the French were too busy running away to see where they were going....
