@universalstudios13 prescribing SSRIs is not an exact science. Different medications will work for different people, you just have to try them out and see how they work for you, (as prescribed by your doctor, obviously). I had to try a couple of different medications before my doctors found something that worked for me. In my case a combination of Citalopram and Buproprion helped a lot. Look into Dialectical Behaviour Therapy as well. Most of all what you need is time and patience.

I have just recently found out that my wife has BPD. I have two kids by her and love her. I am so frustrated. I am doing research to help her and our situation as it is getting worse.
Is Prozac suitable? Dr Leland M. Heller suggests that Prozac and Tegretol combined have performed miracles on his patients. plz help.

Trials make us stronger if we can survive. When you become fully self-aware you will see what an impressive person you are able to be because you had to build yourself from the outside in. Dont forget that this is most common up until age 24 - the end of adolecence in western culture today! Take it as what it is - a search for your truest identity outside of what society tells you it is.

My wife has BPD. She is as mean as mean can be. After eight years of marriage, eight years of hell on earth, I am sooo done. All I can do now is divorce her, and hope she doesn't murder me. She is the scariest person I have ever known. Please, good Lord, protect me from her.
