My small tribute to the Duke,an American icon.He tried to enlist 3 times during ww2 and each time was refused as his propaganda value was worth far more than his fighting value!The photos are not meant to be in any particular order,they are just some of my favorites!

The first time I saw "The Shootist" I was stationed in England. As i left the theater,I knew in my heart that I had just seen The Duke's last film. I shook his hand while he was filming McQ. I was stationd nearby. This video moves me so deeply that I wish every person who calls themself an American would see it. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this outstanding video.
