In a span of 20 years the US went from being a rolemodel for other countries, to the biggest villain on the planet and a republic for dictators. Good job guys, the first thing you should do is remove Obama, but I have no idea with whom you should replace him with. Ron Paul is the best alternative but he doesn't stand a chance when the media apparatus will finish him off for real come summer and fall.

The paradox of something based on scarcity needing to be widely available and in common circulation in order to support an economy is difficult to comprehend and doesn't stand up to the scrutiny of logic. The current system is in a state of freefall collapse due to the false premise of scarce resources.

u know I actually thought of the same thing nearly 3 years ago, I gave it deep consideration but than I remembered the laws of economics...it says that a currency or any medium of exchange must be scarce. Now if lettuce, tomatoes, or garlic was a scarce vegetable than it makes sense.

This man is absolutely correct. Agriculture is the only sector that can save the economy. Any future economic system will have to be agriculture based. Even agriculture commodity based currencies may be something to consider. Forget gold, the future will be grain, rice and corn. This may seem far-fetched, but the solutions to the current crisis will bring some big surprises with things never before even considered. There's no other way.

Not much except helping spread awareness in the social com and writing some on the ecosituation. However, I can only do so much, it's yours, taken u are a US citizen. If u are, u can make the real change in the ballot box. I live in Sweden, it's not my job ultimately to change your leader, it is up to the citizens of the republic. But it is in all of our's interest, since the US have a big impact on global politics, and we rather see you promote peace instead of doing your usual war mongering.

Interesting point Hudson , if a commodity such as sugar becomes to high..people will simply cut back or stop using it , either changing their tastes or finding an alternative , they won't keep paying a rising price , or in some cases they will be forced into a situation of growing their own food.
