@toonguykc You've been brainwashed by the media to think he's an idiot. Military-industrial complex had 8 year plan with him for their purposes, so they had to keep him. Idiot president - OK. President with presenile dementia - NO WAY (he would have to resign). That's why they were hiding it so well. They were selling us "stupid" story, we all laughed and bought it.

@nathanj37 Yeah this is bollocks. I agree with you. Although later on he was too consistently "stupid" for it to be nerves. I just think the stress of the job started getting to him over the years. That and not only was he never any good at public speaking but he never thought it important so maybe as his workload became larger he spent less and less time on preparing for speeches and debates. In speeches he's done since Obama replaced him he's been more eloquent.

@msaasha Yeah, I don't think it can be denied. He just appears to be oblivious to the words he's saying. And who knows why? However, think the consensus is that he's never been that good with public speaking anyway. As well as the possibility that as president he was forced into saying things he didn't believe. Making him one of the most transparent presidents that ever was. I mean, you always knew when he didn't care, or wasn't comfortable, or was probably lying as he spoke.

I think that he was used as a scapegoat, and harshly criticized, yes, but it is an EXTREME overstatement to say that he will be remembered as one of the greatest presidents. That's just being naive.
