This song is Liza's song.
It was written for her for her starrring role in the film New York New York, I hate the way everybody always thinks its Sinatra's song

CHARISMA. Way to go, Liza with a 'Z.'

magical happen only at 2 53 : behaving like a drunk so sad to see such a performance

It looks like the vocal was pre-recorded here - but she did it well whether it was actually sung on the spot or pre-recorded in a Studio. She recently did the song again for the
TV Land Awards and she was having some vocal difficulties. She's always an interesting performer to watch nevertheless.

Some times shes right on and other times she struggles with the long notes , if she has lots of warm up she still sounds amazing, example liza at the palace..... she rocks i love her!!
-
this is certainly not live....what a load of pure shit! She is lip synching to a click track. It is not too obvious but you can deffo tell its not live. I love Liza.....and that is why i know this is not her live.
-
It is hard to believe that this was live - one year before that 2008 she wasn't able to sing it like that.
-
@baburton81 i it is live. why do you think it ist not live. she is one of the best singers that exist. she has so much talent and her show is simply the best
-
I don't think she's singing this live.
-
I don't know what planet she was singing live on, but it was not this one.....there are no variations at all when she moves the mic around.....sorry, but that was not live......

@22kellyjean But this performance is lipsynced. But I mean, for her age and what shes been through I'm surprised she didn't lip-sync earlier in her career as you say she didn't :)
A personal word of JBFANN...
Dear visitors and viewers of this video,
I think that this appearance was a live performance of the artist and no lip-sync.
The problem of "time delay" between picture and sound may have been incurred during the conversion of video recording from TV to a file for YouTube.
During the appearance on TV, no asynchrony was evident.
Thank you for your attention - enjoy that song.
