4:18 is a bloody classic laugh

This sketch is not a comedic parody, this is sheer performance art brilliance; both ladies capture essence of the original film characters while, at the same time, taking it over the edge and giving us something more. Bravo to French & Saunders, I stumbled here by accident and so glad I did. Bette Davis and Joan Crawford both would have ADORED this exquisite piece.

5 people were never given Baby Dawn dolls as children. :(

Dawn French, funny.Jennifer Saunders, about as funny as a cup of cold sick.

Goddamn, that was brilliantly executed. Really captured the spirit of the original.

Classic. The attention to detail is perfect. Almost as funny as the original and amazing that they have managed to spoof a film that was so camp in the first place.

I love these gals. Just two more in a long line of extremely talented British entertainers. I am a Yank, but have always found our friends across-the-pond to be every bit our equals in music, comedy, acting (perhaps superior there), etc. Dawn and Jennifer's chosen subject material does show the influence of American movies in particular. The girls have millions of fans in the US and Canada. They are first-rate comedians and are hysterical!

becuz of French and Saunders, celebrities have been divided into two groups of people; those who Dawn French can impersonate perfectly, and those who Jennifer Saunders can impersonate perfectly

The level of authenticity this sketch has is borderline scary! Having seen the original movie at last a dozen times, I can tell you the sets and the costumes and wigs and just the total, over-all feel is near perfect. Hats off to those responsible =^)
