Fiestas de Taos

It's one of the biggest parties of the year and this year's Fiestas de Taos more than lived up to its hype with countless individuals soaking up the fun while honoring traditions and cultures that make Taos unique.

Events filled Taos Plaza and surrounding roadways with carloads of excited kids, parents in tow, a sprinkling of dogs and lots of old timers who went to sit and listen to the sounds of musical acts such as Mariachi Calor, Tesoro and Young Guns.

The plaza was filled with teens and tweens circling, potato twists and cell phones in hand, checking out who's who and buying fake grills for their teeth to look like their favorite rapper.
